Cloud Forest School

We are an environmentally-focused, bilingual, accredited, private K-11 school in service to both the students of the Monteverde and international community. For nearly 30 years, our school has provided high-quality bilingual instruction with an emphasis on environmental education. Approximately 90% of our students each year are local, with the remaining 10% coming from around the world. As part of the school’s founding mission, 70% of our students receive financial support. Our institution is dedicated to the development of future generations of ecologically conscious, academically well-rounded and culturally competent world citizens.
